Kanas Scenic Area is located in the middle section of Altai Mountain in Xinjiang, and is located in the golden zone of China bordering Kazakhstan, Russia and Mongolia.
Kanas Scenic Area is known as "the pure land of mankind, the Oriental Switzerland and the paradise of photographers". The scenic area is mainly divided into three parts: Kanas Scenic Area, Hemu village and Baihaba scenic area. There are 55 scenic spots in the three areas, mainly including Kanas National Nature Reserve, Kanas National Geological Park, Baihaba National Forest Park, Jiadengyu National Forest Park, Kanas River Valley, Hemu River Valley, Naren grassland, Hemu grassland, Hemu village, Baihaba village, Kanas village, etc.
