Kashgar Tours

Kashgar (meaning a place like jade) is a city in the westernmost part of China, facing the Tarim Basin in the East and the Pamir Plateau in the West. As early as 2100 years ago, it was the confluence of the South and North roads at the western end of the Chinese section of the Ancient Silk Road. It was also a transportation hub and gateway for China's economic and cultural exchanges with the West.

Kashgar has two cities, one is the old city and the other is the new city. Almost all the main streets of the old city lead to the Id Kah Mosque. On Friday morning, people can hear the sound of Maizeng (a religious official) standing on the minaret in the temple, calling believers to worship vibrates in the dawn air and across the fields.

In addition to the scenic spots in the urban area of Kashgar, such as: Id Kah Mosque, Apa Hoja Mausoleum, and Grand Bazaar, visitors to Kashgar will also go to Karakul Lake, White Sand Lake, Stone City, and Khunjerab Pass in the south of Kashgar.
